The Los Angeles Press Club will dedicate its 11th Annual Arts and Entertainment Awards Gala in honor of Jonathan Gold, the Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic who died of pancreatic cancer this past July at the age of 57.
Gold’s work embodied a mixture of curiosity and creativity that is the hallmark of the best Criticism.
Whether writing about food or music his journalistic instincts revealed the nuisances of human experience. His work was an investigation of the diversity of culture and contributed to making the City of Angeles a world-class destination for Art and Cuisine.
